Community Advisory - Indecent Assault and Battery

December 11, 2018

On Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at approximately 5:00 AM a female undergraduate student reported to the Harvard University Police Department that she was indecently assaulted while on Plympton Street near Quincy House at approximately 12:45 AM.  The victim reported that she was approached by two males who called out to her.  One of the males grabbed her, threw her against a wall and then began kissing her and fondled her chest.  The victim immediately began screaming and fled the area.  The victim was...

2018 Annual Security Report available

The University is required by federal law (The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, 20 U.S.C. 1092(f), known as the “Clery Act”) to publish an Annual Security Report and an Annual Fire Safety Report.

Community Advisory - Burglaries - Harvard Yard

September 6, 2018

On Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at approximately 8:15 AM several Holworthy Hall residents reported to the Harvard University Police Department that while they were sleeping someone climbed through their first floor common room window and stole laptops, wallets and an iPad from their common area and an adjacent common area in another room.

Community Advisory - Harvard Yard Unarmed Robbery

March 6, 2018

On Monday, March 5, 2018 at 6:59 PM a female alumni reported to the Harvard University Police Department that she was robbed in Harvard Yard near Sever Hall as she walking on the path to exit onto Quincy Street. The victim stated an unknown male approached her from behind and grabbed her purse, causing her to fall to the ground. The offender fled the Yard. Officers searched the area but not locate the offender....
