Campus Advisory - Reports of Shots Fired on Memorial Drive near River Street

At approximately 1:36PM the Harvard University Police Department received information from the Cambridge Police Department that a person armed with a gun fired shots in the area of Memorial Drive and River Street, possibly injuring two victims.   The suspect is in custody.  There is no ongoing threat to the campus.  

Please avoid the area.  Several roads are closed in the area so expect significant traffic delays for the foreseeable future.
