For members of the Harvard community who need to provide fingerprints to prospective employers, for security clearances, or for bar applications, the Harvard University Police Department will resume offering fingerprinting services effective Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
HUPD will be offering fingerprinting on April 20, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Additional dates and times will be added in the near future.
All fingerprint appointments must be made online – we are unable to process walk-ins or phone requests. Please designate what time slot you wish to appear for fingerprints.
Fingerprinting will be conducted by a detective from the Criminal Investigation Division.

The cost of the service is $15 per card or $20 for two or more cards. The fee may be paid by cash or check (made out to Harvard University Police Department) or payment may be made using the link or the QR code below on your smart phone, iPad, or laptop (proof of payment required).

Applicants must appear at the site at the designated time. Each applicant must show a current Crimson Clear pass at the first floor lobby desk, present a picture ID (license or passport) in addition to their University ID, and follow all required safety precautions including social distancing. All fingerprint cards should be printed in black ink. Fingerprint cards are usually provided by the requesting authority but the HUPD does have additional cards available upon request.
