Bomb Threat - Holyoke Center

At approximately 4:50 AM this morning the Cambridge Police Department received a report that there were bombs at 1350 Massachusetts Ave., the location of Holyoke Center. CPD immediately notified HUPD and both CPD and HUPD units were dispatched to the scene to investigate. Officers from both departments searched the building. No suspicious packages or devices were found, and public safety officials determined that the building was safe for normal operations. If during the course of the day you observe something that seems out of place or out of the ordinary please contact the HUPD at 5-1212. Incidents such as these are a reminder that public safety is at its highest when we all remain vigilant.
