From the Cambridge Police Department:
Arrest Made in Armed Robbery
A 16-year-old male from Cambridge has been arrested in connection with Wednesday morning’s armed robbery that occurred in the area of Flagg Street and Banks Street. He will face an armed robbery charge as well as charges associated with three outstanding warrants. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Cambridge Police Investigating Assault & Battery in Area of Putnam Avenue and Green Street
The Cambridge Police Department is asking residents to be aware of their surroundings after a female reported she was assaulted by an unknown suspect on Tuesday evening at approximately 10:15 p.m. in the area of Putnam Avenue and Green Street.

At this time the only building impacted on the Longwood campus is Goldenson (220 Longwood.) No other buildings have been evacuated.

Community Advisory - Charles River Assault and Battery

October 4, 2017

On Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at approximately 11:50 PM a female undergraduate student reported to the Harvard University Police Department that she was assaulted while running along the Charles River near the intersection of Memorial Drive and Western Avenue. The victim reported that she was grabbed from behind by an unidentified male. The victim immediately began to struggle with the male and discharged pepper spray in an attempt to thwart her attacker. Community Advisory - Yard and Radcliffe Houses Burglaries

Over last weekend, 9/23/17 and 9/24/17, the Harvard University Police Department responded to three (3) reports of thefts occurring in two different Yard dorms and an upperclass house at the Radcliffe Quad. In the two Yard thefts the offender(s) opened or pushed in screen windows on first floor rooms and removed laptops from desks situated right next to the windows. In the Quad house theft offender(s) made entry into a suite which was occupied at the time and entered two unoccupied rooms and stole two laptops and a wallet. Community Advisory - Bomb Threats Received by University Officials

September 20, 2017
Harvard University Police Department has received reports of multiple bomb threats emailed to various University officials on campus. Harvard is one of many local colleges and universities that have received similar threats this afternoon. re is NO credible threat to the University at this time. No buildings are being evacuated. University staff should be vigilant and report any suspicious behavior that they may observe.
