Over last weekend, 4/23/16 and 4/24/16, the Harvard University Police Department responded to ten (10) reports of thefts occurring in River Houses and a Yard dorm. All but one of the thefts occurred in River Houses. In eight (8) of the ten incidents the room doors were either unsecured or propped open. In three of the incidents a suspect(s) entered rooms that were occupied. In one of those incidents a resident woke to find a suspect in the room.
