For members of the Harvard community who need to provide fingerprints to prospective employers, for security clearances, or for bar applications, the Harvard University Police Department will resume offering fingerprinting services effective Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
Beginning Monday 4/4/22, HUPD will be offering fingerprinting at the Smith Campus Center office space every Tuesday from and Thursday from 12:00PM to 2:00PM.
All fingerprint appointments must be made online – we are unable to process walk-ins or phone requests. Please designate what time slot you wish to appear for fingerprints.
Fingerprinting will be conducted by a detective from the Criminal Investigation Division.

The cost of the service is $15 per card or $20 for two or more cards. The fee must be made using the link or QR code when reserving an appointment (proof of payment required).
Applicants must appear at the site at the designated time. Each applicant must show a current Crimson Clear pass at the first floor lobby desk, present a picture ID (license or passport) in addition to their University ID, and follow all required safety precautions including social distancing. All fingerprint cards should be printed in black ink. Fingerprint cards are usually provided by the requesting authority but the HUPD does have additional cards available upon request.
