Medical Emergencies

Dial 9-911 for life-threatening emergency medical assistance. Urgent medical assistance is available 24 hours a day at University Health Services, Holyoke Center, (49) 5-5711. Medical transport to UHS is provided by the police 24 hours a day. By law, the HUPD cannot transport non-ambulatory community members in their police vehicles. They do, however, respond to all medical emergencies. If they are unable to transport the victim, they will provide emergency medical treatment until trained medical professionals arrive. It is important to note that non-emergency medical transport by ambulance may result in charges to the victim.
